Dr. Ana Kodra is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, holding certificates in both Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis. She also completed a General Practice residency as well as a Masters in Public Health through New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital in New York City where she enjoyed learning about the intersection of dental health, health policy and management, and health disparities.
Dr. Ana Kodra graduated college from Macaulay Honors College at City College of New York as a Psychology major and Biology minor. She was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society upon graduation. Her graduation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her DMD also awarded her the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators’ Achievement Award, Community Oral Heath Honors, and the Judith Rodin Award for her dedication to community outreach and public health. Her recently published paper on multiple intelligence theory and how people learn serves to highlight her commitment to education and more importantly educating her patients about their oral health.
She is fluent in four languages and is hoping to add a 5th time permitting. When she’s not engaged academically or tending to her patients, Dr. Ana can be found throwing together baked confections, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
